Whenever I fall sick, I wonder why, why now, what me again??????
But now, I know..... When I fall sick, the answer to me is very clear.... REST!!!
That's the best medication of all REST!!!

Birthday number 35!!!
The year is soon to be coming to an end. What has the Lord taught me thus far is the question that I have been asking myself.
He has taught me many lessons. However, the one that I would like to highlight is to be thankful for my life and for the present each day brings.
I have been waiting for 24 December 2008 to come by soon for almost 4 months since I sold my house. The reason is very simple. After my 35th Birthday, I can buy my own house.
The first lesson that I learnt was to be patient. I have been praying that the Lord will open the door for me to find a nice 3 or 4 room flat, at the right time and most importantly at the right price. Well, the day I made the decision to sell the house, I have been look at possibilities to buy my flat but to no avail. So to rent was the answer and I have been doing so for almost 4 months now. Time really flies and I have become a beacon for the Lord in this place and I thank Him most of all for this great lesson to the Lord. I'm still learning to be patient and waiting on Him for a place. I don't know when and where but I know that He will provide. Amen!!
The other lesson that I learnt is that the Lord indeed put different people in my life for various reasons. I have been blessed with good and wonderful friends. I cannot remember the year where I had 3 birthday cakes!
My first celebration was at JC place where my AW Basic gathered and celebrated J and my birthday together. A picture is below to show you the wonderful group.
The next birthday celebration I had was with my LP mates on the 21 December 2008. LP 68 gathered and gave me a birthday treat and a really great surprise. My Adv Buddy Kok Way was also there for the celebration. Some pictures to show you!
The next birthday cake I had was at my Seniors' place. We had a Visionaries (LP-68)gathering cum my birthday. First is was me waiting for T to take a picture and finally I get to blow out the candles!
3 cakes with 3 groups of wonderful, loving, giving and passionate people is the greatest gift I could ever receive from the Lord and I thank Him most of all for each and everyone of them.
As the days goes by, I open up my present from the Lord and I thank Him for the gift that He has given me.
The GIFT of LIFE, LOVE and ETERNAL LIFE!!!
