MOV 2009 - Living My Dreams!!!

For the past 6 months, I have been involved in Ministry of Vision (MOV) 2009. MOV is actually an initiative under Campvision and MOV allows youths to live their dreams in 3 pillars such as Drama, Dance and Photography!

MOV officially launched in January 09 and a lot of leg work went into preparing for this event. The finally presentation was last night 28 March 09 and because of this wonderful experience, I am able to take in all the experience and move on in my life!

I wrote this and read it out to everyone during acknowledgement circle. I want to share this with you too. It's entitled "Thank You From Me To You!"

Today, many dreams have come true.
Have you wondered “Is it because of you?”
All I can say is this;
MOV 09 is finally through.

It’s a journey I would never want to forget.
Because you have made it so memorable yet.
I see you shine up there on stage;
Seeing your dreams come alive as I turn the page.

You’ve made me laugh; you’ve made me cry;
You’ve made me see the wonders in your eyes.
The biggest dream a man can dream;
Has finally come true before your own eyes.

You’ve danced your heart and gave your all;
Today is indeed a day you can recall.
You’ve acted like you never did;
And yes it was all oh so sweet.

There are many things I want to say;
To thank you for making this day.
I searched and searched for the words to come;
However, none came my way.

As I wonder, 2 words keep coming to my mind.
These are words so often said;
But seldom can you find;
The true meaning behind.

So from me to you, I thank you.
I “Thank You for”…
Living your dreams and going all the way.
Trusting me to do this work.
Supporting MOV 2009 and making it happen.
Allowing me into your space.
Allowing me to dream again!
Giving your love to our youths.
Stepping in at the last minute.
Sticking by when the going got tough.
Bringing laughter into my life!
Letting me cry again.
Letting me love again!
Being a friend.
But most of all,
“Thank You” for leading me to the very end!

Though this work have come to an end;
I do want to see you again.
So live your dreams to your desires;
And I pray that you will learn to love and be loved again.

Indeed it was hard word but I will not say "NO" if it comes by my way again. I worked with great people along the way too!!! A group of people who are willing to give up time with family members and others to be with youths for a period of 3 months! Thanks to one and all. Love you all loads!!!
