Just this morning before I went for morning service, this song came into my mind. I felt that when I'm at some cross-roads of my life, I would have this song to remind me that He leadeth me where ever I go, whatever I do and where ever I am.
Here is the lyrics of the song.
================================
He leadeth me,
O blessed thought!
O words with heav’nly comfort fraught!
Whate’er I do, where’er I be
Still ’tis God’s hand that leadeth me.
Refrain:He leadeth me,
He leadeth me,
By His own hand He leadeth me;
His faithful foll’wer I would be,
For by His hand He leadeth me.
Sometimes ’mid scenes of deepest gloom,
Sometimes where Eden’s bowers bloom,
By waters still, o’er troubled sea,
Still ’tis His hand that leadeth me.
Lord, I would place my hand in Thine,
Nor ever murmur nor repine;
Content, whatever lot I see,
Since ’tis my God that leadeth me.
And when my task on earth is done,
When by Thy grace the vict’ry’s won,
E’en death’s cold wave I will not flee,
Since God through Jordan leadeth me.
==============================
The words that stands out for me is the last verse.
"And when my task on earth is done,
When by Thy grace the vict'ry's won,
E'en death's cold wave I will not flee,
Since God through Jordan leadeth me."
Whenever I sing this song, I am reminded that my time on earth will one day come to an end. And when it does, I will be safe in the arms of my Maker, Redeemer and Friend, Our Lord and God Jesus Christ!

70 years and still going strong!
Last night, I went for a church elders 70th birthday party! YUP like I said it 70 years of life! Cool right? I'm now wondering if the Lord would grant me those number of years before He comes!
All I can say is be blessed U Francis and Happy Birthday!
All I can say is be blessed U Francis and Happy Birthday!
Why me?
Have you ever wonder and asked yourself this question? WHY ME?
WHY ME that I should loose my mum so early?
WHY ME that I should have diabetes?
WHY ME that I should have high blood?
WHY ME that I am obese?
WHY ME that I have to suffer?
WHY ME that I have to .....
So many WHY MEs right? However, if I choose to be so negative, I would not live to be what I am today?
So think positively and live right in God's eyes so that I can live in the light and not darkness. Amen
To "leave' or not to "leave"? That is the question.
Just the other day, I asked myself this question. Leave what? Well... Singapore for one.
Each time, I say to myself that it is time to move on and decides that I want to move to Australia, the Lord has interesting put things in my path that would require me to stay on for at least another year longer.
Then I look in the papers and as we look at the things that has been happening in Australia, I thanked Him for what He has done for me to stay put...
Maybe the feeling to move will come again... when? ... I don't know... When it does, I'll let you know.
Thank you Lord for your direction in my life. Amen!

God will take care of you
The other day, I attended one of my caregroup member's funeral. Aunty SC went to be with the Lord on Wed3 February 2010.
Though I only got to know her recently and only met a few times, I felt very drawn to her.
She is a Godly woman and loves the Lord with all her heart. She reminded me of my mummy too. Mum loves to read the bible and even when she was not feeling well, she would move from the bed to the table just to read her bible and by doing that, it would take a lot of energy from her.
My mum's favourite Psalm was Psalm 23 - The Lord is my Shepherd. This Psalm was also Aunty SC favourite Psalm.
During her wake 1 evening, godpa was asked to lead to sing this song, God will take care of you. As I read the lyrics of this song, I feel so encouraged. Let me share it with you. Be blessed!
======================================
Be not dismayed whate'er betide,
God will take care of you;
beneath his wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.
Refrain:
God will take care of you,
through every day, o'er all the way;
he will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
God will take care of you;
when dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you. (Refrain)
All you may need he will provide,
God will take care of you;
nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you. (Refrain)
No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
lean, weary one, upon his breast,
God will take care of you. (Refrain)
